The new week begins now

Author: It is going to be such a big week as well! Oh man, just a few more days until relaunch! I am on the edge of my seat! Well metaphorically. I am actually pretty centered on it to be honest. All will be revealed very soon!
Also the forums got redesigned! By me! well all I did was find and format a nice template I dug up, and with my best friend nyno doing the artwork I actually did absolutely nothing. Why did it take me so much time then? Oh well, it does look nice now I think. It also matches well with the upcoming web design so things are really falling into place now! Sucks I have so much work and I am not able to focus on it as much as I would like as we head towards this final countdown.
Random just sent me pictures too from Friday night, that I believe Jeriaska took, check them out!

So those are some photos from the night. For now though I look forward to another day of fretting over the website and making sure everything is in order. So for now I retire.
Oh but before I go, check out the forum redesign, which I could have easily linked earlier when I mentioned the redesign the first time, but I am not scrolling up to add that link now!
Oh, also I meant to start sorting out the pricing situation for the upcoming album, but I guess I got sidetracked, I will definitely have to start planning that out very soon though. I hate math, but it must be done!

Riveting
So I woke up, with full and complete intent to be lazy, and I finish the day, and glad to lazily revel in my success. I listened to some Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe, and of course rocked out to some more of The J. Arthur Keenes Band, which I just can’t get enough of now.
It wasn’t all laziness though, I did get some essential writing done. Starting the VGIM wrap up which will run every Sunday, starting tomorrow. I also got some new album posts that need to make the rounds. Speaking of which, the new Elfonso is out! Hells yes! Now everyone can love them as much as I. Or not.
Also Nyno created an awesome new site logo and site header tonight, wish I could show it off but folks will have to wait until the official unveiling in a few days. I am incredibly excited for this! It is the dawn of a new era here people! Did I say that last blog?
Well it doesn’t matter, it is still true. This is bigger than a gamma ray burst that sends a newly magnetically polared planet X hurtling into the sun causing a massive solar flare and creating a black hole which destroys the entire world! Also Sharks! Also I am going to bed!

What an oh so very long day. I wish I could have spent more of it at home just talking to my friend. I did have fun hanging out with some people I haven’t seen in a long time though. First I went with Jeriaska to film some stuff with two of the fine folks from Tanuki Suit Riot about their music and Third Form and my website a bit. They were really cool fun guys to chat with and checking out their fancy home studio was definitely a treat.
After that went with my friend Rich and IllGill to Little Tokyo and had some sushi and hung out and caught up with eachother. Then off to the Mega Ran show which was awesome, even though Random had a very short set time. He did great though and the crowd seemed to love it, especially the freestyle. He also played Splash Woman, which is definitely my favorite.
One of the bigger things that stuck with my mind all day though was the dream I had last night. So many things happened and I remember so much of it. It was a huge series of events over what felt like several dreams, and they all led up to this very final thing just before I woke up. Simply the word “hi” but with such a strong meaning conveyed through the very tone and mood of the one simple syllable. I can still sense it right now. I will stop though before I get too poetic on here, and no one wants that.
To sum it up, great night, hung out with cool people, had a fun time and I told some good but ridiculous jokes. It was awesome. Although I am a shut in at heart and am very glad to just have tomorrow sitting inside with nothing to do.

Happy Thanksgiving
Yep, thanksgiving has come and gone. First of all, it was hot as all hell outside. What the fuck, seriously.
Now that that is out of the way, the day was long, and tiring, but also relaxing. I had work from about 8:30 to 5:30. I came home, relaxed a bit. Then i proceeded to stuff my face while watching Carl Sagan and The Cosmos (awesome band name alert!). I think everything Carl Sagan says is quotable and awesome.
Should also mention that Elfonso’s new album is up on iTunes. So hell yeah, check it out if you are so inclined. That also leads me to another message I got. Mutherpluckin’ B sent over his track for the new GM4A comp. it is one truly heroic five minute track that throws down a flurry of atomic funk bombs. That’s a terrible description, but the song is really really good. Well tomorrow is a very long and quite epic day. Hanging out with Tanuki Suit Riot and Jeriaska as I mentioned in the last post. Also will be chilling with the nerdcore homies later on in the night whilst also catching Random perform.
Didn’t do too much work on the website today either, but it’s a holiday, I have some semblance of an excuse this time. I am pretty sure everything is good to go anyway. I do need to give both the intro post and redesign email a once over though. Stop slacking on that Anthony geno!
Relatively productive day
Hey look, this title has a capital letter, grammatically correct and everything. It’s the dawn of a new age!
I wrote out a handful of new blog posts today, and hope to do more over the next several days. You might notice this blog is early today as well since I have work ridiculously early tomorrow. Well not really, but relative to my normal work time it is ridiculous. I finished the email to be sending folks once the site launches, and I think it is pretty awesome, but may rewrite some bits still to make it more concise. I have a fear people will think of it as spam or for some other reason not make it through the whole message. So I want it to flow as shortly and smoothly as I can. That can be difficult considering how much I would like to convey, but it should be possible.
Also loaded up a bunch of new albums today to my iTunes, which might get me out of my Elfonso obsession for just long enough to get into some new tunes. Listening to a newer Pause release by The J. Arthur Keenes Band and must say it is awesome so far, will definitely need to write about this one very soon. It is a Pause album though, so it should be expected by now that I would totally dig it.
Also should mention I am doing some interview stuff Friday morning alongside the band Tanuki Suit Riot who will be on the new GM4A album. Jeriaska will be conducting the interview and recording all the awesome stuff, so have to thank him for that. We should be recording alongside Nameless and 8 Bit Weapon in the future as well which should be awesome.
Also stopped being lazy and started uploading all the recent recordings from Ballad of The Wind Fish for the archives on Arecibo Radio. And I think coolest of all, Hex sent over a copy of the Nerdapalooza Tapes 2009 and I do believe you can hear me yell “yeeeaaaahhh” at the opening of The Grammar Club’s song Red Cyclone. Have I finally been immortalized in compact disc format???

another relatively unproductive day
So didn’t get a whole lot done today, I have a list sitting here of things that need to get done for the site, and instead what I did was listen to some tunes (mostly Elfonso) and editing the ATTACK section. If you head over there you will see a picture that links to my contact info. Well it technically links over to the contact page on gm4a but that works too.
I have tomorrow off, so will be getting a ton of work done then. Also will be preparing for this weekend, which will see the LA nerdcore folks and I heading into Los Angeles to catch Mega Ran perform on Friday. Will be giving full details on that on the main GM4A page tomorrow.
Actually I did work on one important thing. I have written a rough draft of the announcement email for the website. I will have to give it a once over before I consider it all finished up though. Next job is to sort out my contacts and start sending the emails and messages everywhere.
